Community notice - Upcoming water infrastructure upgrades

Fitzroy River Water will be upgrading the Agnes Street Water Pump Station during October and November 2025.

During this period, residents in Wandal, The Range, West Rockhampton, and Allenstown areas may experience temporary fluctuations in water pressure.

These changes are part of the commissioning process for new water supply systems and are a normal part of integrating new infrastructure into the network.

The most noticeable fluctuation is expected on Saturday 11 October, with the lowest pressure occurring between 11pm and 4am.

It is not expected that any customer will experience total loss of water supply unless prior notice is given.
