Are you enrolled to vote? Enrolment closes this Friday!

Enrolment for voting will close on Friday, 12 February for the 2016 Rockhampton Regional Council election.

It is compulsory for all eligible Australians citizens over 18 years to enrol to vote.

You are eligible to enrol and vote if you:

• are an Australian citizen, or a British subject
• are 18 years or older, and
• have lived at your address for at least one month

Voting is compulsory and is conducted as a full postal ballot, attendance election, or a combination of both. Failing to vote in Queensland may result in a fine.
