Beeswax Wrap Making

Next date: Wednesday, 27 November 2019 | 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM

Come along to this fun workshop and discover the art of making your own beeswax wraps.

This is the perfect way to spend an evening, learning a new skill and taking a step closer to living more sustainably. Plus, think of the wonderful gifts that you can make friends and relatives.

Beeswax food wraps are a low impact and more sustainable alternative to plastic cling wrap. Use them to keep your food fresh - from sandwiches to cheese, fruit to vegetables. Beeswax food wraps are washable, reusable, freezable, and look absolutely beautiful. Choose fabrics that match your kitchen, fabrics that are your best friend’s favourite colour, or fabrics that match the season. There is a beeswax wrap for everyone.

This workshop runs for two hours, and you will leave with four beeswax wraps of varying colours and sizes, an instructional booklet on how to make more at home, and a wealth of new skills and know-how!

All materials are provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own fabric if they have a specific preference of colour or design.
