Volunteers play a vital role in the day-to-day activities of Rockhampton Art Gallery. Our volunteers require a strong commitment to customer service and a willingness to enhance their knowledge of arts and culture as well as Council procedures to assist them in their role. Gallery Volunteers should attempt to exceed customers’ expectations when responding to enquiries and processing sales.
Our Rockhampton Art Gallery Volunteers are an imperative part of our operations, manning our Reception Desk and Gallery Shop and ensuring our community and tourist visitors receive a friendly welcome and quality service. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to learn.
Volunteers have the opportunity to learn about the arts and be involved in exciting arts events. We can tailor your involvement according to your interests and available time.
