CQ METS Accelerator Program

Mining staff on-site

Do you have a product or service that has application in the Mining Equipment,Technology and Services (METS) sector and is in early sales or ready to be tested?

Submit your application now for the CQ METS Accelerator Program.

Queensland’s METS sector is seen as the driver for innovative, cost-effective, production-efficient solutions for the mining industry’s needs. The Queensland Government, in conjunction with METS Ignited and Rockhampton Regional Council is funding the CQ METS Accelerator Program. This program will give local businesses and start-ups the skills to build their business capabilities and confidently use modern business techniques and frameworks to accelerate commercial outcomes.

This industry-specific pre-accelerator program is your opportunity to better sell your METS-related product or service to existing and new markets. In conjunction with executives from SmartHub Rockhampton, Adaptive Solutions founder Bill McKeague will deliver a program where participants learn the fundamentals of customer development, the value proposition canvas and problem-solution fit. With these newly acquired skills and capabilities, participants will be well-equipped to continue developing their ideas, build out their customer base and establish ongoing and sustainable business models.

The fully funded program (limited to a group of up to 10 successful applicants) will be delivered between 7 March and 11 April 2019 at Rockhampton Regional Council’s SmartHub – where business owners and entrepreneurs can turn ideas and dreams into real business success.
