Riverside Playground

 Fitzroy Adventure Playground

The Riverside Precinct’s new state of the art playground is sure to keep the kids, and adults, entertained for hours on end. Sitting at eight metres above the ground, the Skywalk is the focal point of the playground where kids and adults can safely move between the towers via bridges. A Spacenet  acts as the entry point to the Skywalk from which kids can then exit through jumbo enclosed slides and land on a soft fall ground. Under the shade sails below the Skywalk, smaller slides and climbing structures including rock climbing walls and nets will keep the younger kids entertained. A dedicated play area for toddlers features a small fort structure with a smaller slide and climbing objects.

The Fitzroy Adventure Playground also encompasses sails and umbrellas to provide shading, a terraced seating area on the upper playground, high stool seating and automatic switch off drinking fountains which includes a dog dish for our four legged friends. Located at the southern end of the Riverside Precinct, on the corner of William and Quay Streets, the playground is open every day and has lighting that is programmed to turn on at sunset and remain on until 10pm. Parking is available along Quay Street or the lower bank carpark adjacent to the Sand Wharf.
