Cedric Archer Park

 In August 2015, Council officially opened Stage One of the redevelopment of Cedric Archer Park with the unveiling of the new $410,000 playground that features state of the art play experiences, shaded play spaces and soft fall. Additionally, with the assistance of technology the ‘Smart Play Fort’ can be used in conjunction with some of Hans Christian Andersen’s famous story books. By downloading the App children can take a story book journey through the fort.

Cedric Archer Park has since opened a brand new street plaza style skate park and wet play area, complete with giant shade sails, mega soakers, tipping buckets and spray tunnels.  The wet play area marks the grand finale of Cedric Archer Parks $2.35 million upgrade.
