Rockhampton Heritage Village
Step back in time at this friendly township museum showcasing the rich, colourful history of the Rockhampton district 1850 - 1950.
Throughout your visit at the Rockhampton Heritage Village you will see vintage vehicles, a hall of clocks, timber cutters camp, a blacksmith shop, homesteads and cottages, vintage machinery and a range of friendly farm animals.

School Holiday Activities
Looking for some fun activities for the school holidays? School holiday activities are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of all primary school holidays except over the Christmas period.
Join us at the Heritage Village these holidays for some heritage-inspired fun! Activities include feeding the livestock, enjoying rides on the stage coach, vintage cars, double decker bus and more! You can even treat yourself and the family to a light snack or ice cream at Arnolds Store.
Admission is only $10 which includes all rides. One adult free per family and additional adults $10. Enclosed shoes must be worn on all rides. Free parking available.
Tours of the Heritage Village
Experience the Heritage Village with a guided tour. Tours are available for schools (tailored to prep/early primary and late primary/secondary) and also for other groups (eg social groups, special interest groups etc). Contact the Village for details.
The Rockhampton Heritage Village holds markets on Sundays every two months where you can see a huge variety of stalls selling locally produced arts and crafts, produce, plants and more. Unless otherwise stated, markets open at 8am and conclude at 1.30pm. Enclosed shoes must be worn on all rides.
Entry on market days:
$2 per person. Children aged 14 and under are FREE. Vintage vehicle rides $3. Closed in shoes must be worn on the rides.
Heritage Festival. Late May / early June (Annual event, exact date and entry fee for each year to be advised).
Halloween. Late October (annual event,exact date and entry fee for each year to be advised)
Entry on other days
Event organisers using the Heritage Village may charge a different entry fee to those listed above.

Australian Shearing Shed - function venue
