Free native plant program - Gracemere Customer Service Centre

Rockhampton Regional Council is helping you to ‘bring nature back’ this National Tree Day. To celebrate National Tree Day, Council is providing native plants for you to plant in your yard!

Rockhampton Region residents can pick up their two free native plants from Council’s Gracemere Customer Service Centre on Thursday 25th July 2019. 

Pick two plants per property upon providing proof of residency (such as your Driver’s Licence or Rates Notice).Get in quick – native plant stock is subject to availability.

The provision of native plants is part of Council's Bringing Nature Back program. National Tree Day is a national call to action event that helps us celebrate and value the importance of trees.

Native plants are also available at the following locations in July:

  • Mount Morgan Customer Service Centre on Wednesday 24th July
  • Rockhampton Customer Service Centre from Monday 22nd - Friday 26th July
  • The Environmental Sustainability stall at Emergency Services Day on Sunday 28th July.

Schools participating in National School’s day can request up to 20 plants per school via a request to Council's Parks Unit.
