Author Talk - Dr Anita Heiss

Dr Anita Heiss will be talking about her writing experiences at the Rockhampton Regional Library on Saturday 18 May, 10am - 11.30am. 

Anita is a fantastic indigenous writer who speaks from the heart about indigenous literacy, engagement and ATSI issues. She has written many books including ‘Growing up black in Australia’ which was shortlisted in the Australian Book Industry Awards; black chick lit ‘Avoiding Mr Right’; children’s books ‘Kicking goals with Goodsey’ and ‘Am I black enough for you?’
