The holidays might feel like they’re coming to an end, but don’t start packing those school bags just yet!

With only two weeks left, now is the time to squeeze in as much holiday fun and adventure as possible.

Rockhampton Region Mayor Margaret Strelow said there are more than enough school holiday activities planned to keep anyone entertained.

“There are some absolutely fantastic events and workshops being hosted around the Region over the next couple of weeks,” said Mayor Strelow.

“There’s something to suit any child, whether they’re interested in exploring the world around them, making something from their imagination come alive, or picking up a new skill.

“Of course, the school holidays are also a great time to enjoy some of the natural beauty and fantastic facilities we’re privileged to have in our Region all year round!”

Some of the school holiday events available over the next couple of weeks are listed below. Head over to the Events section of Council’s website to see more: https://www.rockhamptonregion.qld.gov.au/CommunityEvents/Events-Activities
