Local resident, Anastasia Austin, has today reaped the rewards of signing up to Rockhampton Regional Council’s eNotices.

Ms Austin has been announced as the winner of Council’s latest competition encouraging residents to register for electronic billing rather than post.

Ms Austin said she was thrilled to receive the news that she was now the proud owner of a $500 gift voucher.

“It couldn’t have come at a better time,” Ms Austin said.

“We have just moved house so a $500 voucher will certainly help us stock up the new place.

“I was already planning on signing up to eNotices so when I saw the competition I thought why not.

“Using eNotices is so much easier than having paper bills and being able to access them all in the one handy location is such a time saver for our busy family.

“It only took me a few minutes to sign up and I’m obviously very glad I did!”

Rockhampton Region Mayor, Tony Williams, said he was delighted to present the voucher and make Ms Austin’s day.

“At Council it’s always nice to be able to give back to the community and make someone’s day,” Mayor Williams said.

“Ms Austin was one of our residents who signed up to eNotices and entered the competition and now she gets to take home a $500 voucher for her efforts.

“eNotices is an easy, efficient and environmentally friendly way of getting your rates, water or animal registration direct to your email inbox.

“By signing up to eNotices all your bills are conveniently stored in the one place – which means no more sorting through paper bills.

“Although the competition is over you can still sign up and take advantage of this handy service.”
