Rockhampton Heritage Village is the place to be over the Easter School holidays with plenty of fun activities to keep children engaged and entertained.

Bring the kids or grandkids to the Village on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday 4, 5, 6 and 11,12,13 April (10am to midday) and enjoy activities including:

10am-11.30 stagecoach rides
10am-midday vintage car rides
10am-midday Rory the Roadtrain rides
10am-midday animal feeding

Rockhampton Regional Council Communities and Heritage portfolio spokesperson Cr Drew Wickerson said that the Heritage Village School Holiday Activities have been a popular attraction for many years.

“I encourage parents, grandparents and carers to give their children a chance to get out in the open air and experience some of the fun things that the village has to offer. Having a ride on our vintage vehicles is always popular but you can also browse the village while you are here and perhaps buy a snack from Arnold’s Cafe for the family to enjoy,” he said.
