Businesses in the Rockhampton Region are being reminded not to miss their chance to hold a free exhibit at the upcoming Small Landholders’ Day.

The event, which takes place on Saturday 6 October and is supported by the Fitzroy Basin Association, will see hundreds of small landowners and rural residents come together for industry training sessions and trade displays.

Chair of Council’s Planning and Regulatory Committee, Councillor Ellen Smith, said it was a fantastic opportunity.

“Last year we saw over 750 people come together and we are expecting an even bigger crowd for 2018.

“The event is all about providing small landholders with the knowledge and skills to manage their land effectively and safely. There will be information and sessions on a range of topics including pest plants, biosecurity regulations, and conservation efforts.

“If your business provides a service or product that would appeal to a small landholder, and you want to showcase these to hundreds of potential customers, then make sure you register with us as soon as possible.”

Exhibiting at the event is free. Presenting and sponsorship opportunities are also available. Click here for more information.
