Responsibilities
The following is a list of functions assigned to the Community Services Committee:

  • Libraries and Community centres
  • Community development
  • Crime prevention and community safety
  • Cultural activities and festivals
  • Graffiti management
  • Public Art
  • Art Gallery
  • Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF)
  • Social planning and community capacity building
  • Child care, youth and aged services
  • Heritage Village
  • Pilbeam Theatre
  • Showgrounds
  • Other similar community facilities

Note: The Community Services Committee makes recommendations to the Ordinary Council meeting. The Community Services Committee has no delegated authority.
