Waste & Recycling provides a weekly general waste and fortnightly recycling bin collection service to residents within designated collection areas. To help maintain a quality service, residents are asked to position their bins correctly for the automatic handling operation by facing the handle and wheels of the bins toward your house and at least one metre away from obstacles. Bin(s) should be returned to yards prior to 6pm on collection day. Large bulky items that do not permit the bin lid to close or excessively heavy items should not be placed in the bin as it may not be serviced.
Council manages several Waste Management Facilities: Landfills, Transfer Stations, Recycling Drop Off Facilities and Domestic Waste Roadside Bins. For more information please click on the relevant sub category links below or contact the Councils Customer Service Centre on 1300 22 55 77.
