There are a number of pools throughout the Rockhampton Region.

All pools open from September until Easter (approximately), except for Cooee Bay Pool which is open to the public all year round.

Cooee Bay Swimming Pool: Matthew Flinders Drive, Yeppoon

Located at the Capricorn Coast, the complex consists of a 50m Olympic-size swimming pool which is shaded at the shallow end, shaded children's wading pool and enclosed heated pool sufficient for hydrotherapy.

Olympic pool: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6am -6pm; Tuesday and Thursday 6am-7pm; Saturday 7:30am-3pm; and Sunday 10am-2pm.
Heated pool: Monday to Wednesday 6am-8:30am and 12pm-3:15pm; Thursday and Friday 6am-8:30am and 11am-3:25pm; Saturday 12:30pm-2:45pm; and Sunday 10:15am-1:45pm.

Don Ireland Swimming Complex: Pattison Street (Scenic Highway), Emu Park

This friendly and inviting complex located on the Capricorn Coast consists of a 25m swimming pool and shaded wading pool.

World War II Memorial Pool: Lion Creek Road, South Rockhampton

Located close to the CBD, the complex hosts a 50m Olympic-size swimming pool. A new 50m FINA Compliant pool is under construction with estimated completion in January 2012, the pool will will feature a 2m constant depth, state of the art timing systems and a movable bulkhead. Once completed the facility will be redeveloped and a new children's water play area, 25m pool, learn to swim facility and renovations on the diving pool will take place.

These opening hours are being trialled for the beginning of the winter season and will be reviewed after May 31.

Gracemere Swimming Pool: Fisher Street, Gracemere

This complex hosts a 25m pool shaded at the shallow end and a shaded wading pool. Owned by Education Queensland, the pool is open to public use outside of school hours when school is in, weekends and holidays.

Marlborough Public Swimming Pool: Railway Parade, Marlborough

This complex services the small community of Marlborough and is predominantly used by The Marlborough Public Swimming Club. The facility hosts a 12m swimming pool.

Mount Morgan Swimming Pool: Boyd Park, Thompson Avenue

The complex consists of a 30m pool with shading at the shallow end, covered wading pool and large seating grandstand. Located in central Mt Morgan it is closed to the local skate park, basketball half court, bowls club and schools.

Rockpool Water Park: Robinson Street, North Rockhampton

Rockpool Water Park caters for the whole family. With three water slides, a 50m Olympic-size swimming pool, children's wading pool, lagoon pool, blaster boats, 18 hole pirate-themed mini golf, rock climbing wall, Finding Nemo jumping castle, pool inflatables and a jumping pillow there is something for everyone.
