Rockhampton Regional Library Services provides residents with access to a wide and diverse range of resources to entertain, inform and assist in daily living, with collections for adults, youth and children.
Resources are available in a variety of formats including books, large print books, magazines, newspapers, e-books, e-audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and kits, as well as Language and Literacy materials.
Historical and contemporary materials relating to the local area are maintained at the Mount Morgan Library and in the Central Queensland (CQ) collection at the Rockhampton Regional Library. Significant genealogical and family history resources are also available at the Rockhampton Regional Library (Southside).
A range of services are also available including:
A home delivery service for people unable to visit the library;
Photocopying, printing and scanning;
Family history research; and
A range of programs and activities for all ages.
Membership for Rockhampton Regional Libraries is free to residents and non-residents.
E-membership is available for people wishing to only use library technology and online services.
Access the online library catalogue through the Online Services page of this website. The online catalogue gives you access to search the catalogue, check due dates for and renew loans, place holds/reserves, access online subscription databases including e-books and e-audiobooks and selected websites as well as access your membership details.
The online catalogue also enables you to request items not held in the collection from any Rockhampton Regional Library.
The Mount Morgan Library, North Rockhampton Library and Rockhampton Regional Library offer free internet access to the community, however bookings are essential. Some basic training sessions are provided and sessions may also be organised for community groups upon request.
