There are a number of volunteer opportunities in Rockhampton Region to assist with environmental conservation. Some of these opportunities include becoming:

Better Earth Team Member

Want to get outdoors, help the environment and have some fun? Conservation Volunteers offers you daily activities helping the land recover from recent floods around Rockhampton and Yeppoon regions. Come for one day or come every day; it's your choice. Join the team and our dedicated project officer and team leader, Allan Tait and to revegetate the land, clear debris, rebuild fences, and make a difference. Target group is 17-70 year olds. Interested in helping your community to recover from the floods? There is still much to do and we could sure use a hand in our friendly team. National Green Jobs Corps

Preparing for your future? See yourself in the great outdoors? Want to gain skills and prepare for employment? Are you aged between 17 and under 25? This program will get you job-ready no matter what your current skill level is. Conservation Volunteers is pleased to offer the federally funded DEEWR National Green Jobs Corps program which includes: Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management, Senior 1st Aid Certificate, Chemical Handling and Use Certification, Manual Handling Certification, Occupational Health and Safety and more!
