The Rockhampton Region has a number of local attractions which showcase the natural beauty and history of the area. Please click on the links below for more information on each attraction.

Customs House

The heritage listed, sandstone building, Customs House, is a focal point in the landscape of the City of Rockhampton. Completed in 1901, Customs House has now been beautifully restored to become one of the highlights of the Rockhampton Heritage Walk.

The building overlooks the magnificent Fitzroy River and historic Quay Street and has been described as one of the best government buildings in Australia.
