The Banner Poles are used by Community Groups (free of charge) to advertise their up and coming events. 

Council has Banner Poles at six locations throughout the region.   Following are the locations and the number of banners that can be erected at any one time:

Rockhampton Road (opposite BP Yeppoon) - max 3 banners 

Beaman Park (Yeppoon) - max 1 banner 

Emu Park Landfill - max 1 banner 

Emu Park Airstrip (Emu Park Road) - max 1 banner 

Colts (Moores Creek Road, Rockhampton) - max 4 banners (Can hold banners up to 3.8m in length)

Stapleton Park (Lakes Crk Rd, Rockhampton) - max 3 banners (Can hold banners up to 6m in length)

Permission to erect banners is given to non profit groups or groups that are advertising a Community Event eg: Sailing Championships, Australia Day etc; these advertising poles are not for profit or personal gain advertising.

Banners are to be erected for no longer then 2 weeks.
