All of the beaches, parks and gardens within the region are available for hire. Please note that any ceremony taking place on a beach must take place outside the flagged area. For more information click here.
Temporary Events
The Rockhampton Region Council Parks, Gardens and Beaches are the perfect location for a variety of events, functions, corporate functions, festivals and carnivals.
Please note: If you wish to hold an event within the Rockhampton Region Council area an application will need to be submitted to Council no later than three months prior to the event. For more information click here.
Rockhampton Regional Council has numerous areas that can cater for a private function from engagement parties to family gatherings.
In most circumstances these events do not require a booking with Council if they fall under the certain criteria. Due to DERM's requirements Council is no longer able to take courtesy bookings for Private Functions. For more information click here.
