Development Incentives Policy
The purpose of Council’s Development Incentives Policy is to provide tangible financial and non-financial support for commercial and industrial developments that will deliver significant and sustainable growth, diversity and value-adding that is aligned to Council’s planning and economic objectives.
The Development Incentives Policy is a discretionary scheme which seeks to attract and support projects that will deliver the greatest economic benefits to the Rockhampton Regional Council area. The policy applies to development applications made between 1 December 2013 and 30 June 2017. Developments must be completed within three years of the development application being approved by Council.
