Bikeway and Walking Tracks

Bikeways
Bikeways

Council is helping make our Region better by linking up with the Department of Transport and Main Roads Cycleway Strategy.
Within the Region, there are currently no set cycle ways developed, however avid bike riders can still utilise many locations with combined footpaths or separate bike paths in place.

For safety, the Kershaw Gardens, Botanic Gardens, Rockhampton's CBD and most parks are bike-free zones.

Walking Tracks

KickstartCQ is dedicated to helping residents lead a healthy and active lifestyle and have developed a number of resources to help you achieve this.

There are a number of walking tracks within the Rockhampton Region. The maps below provide details on walking tracks and other useful information. These maps are available in four languages and cover different parts of our beautiful Region.
