From 1 January 2012 Rockhampton Regional Council will introduce new Local Laws for our Region?
These Local Laws have been reviewed to ensure consistency throughout the Region and in Council's approach to community compliance.
To assist Councils in making new local laws, the State Government issued a number of model local laws that could be applied, amended or ignored by Councils. To facilitate the process in making new local laws, Rockhampton Regional Council decided to use the model local laws where it could.
