With the activation (and soon after, deactivation) of the Mount Morgan No. 7 Dam Emergency Action Plan last week, Fitzroy River Water would like to remind residents to add their details to the emergency notification list.

Council’s Water Committee Chair, Councillor Greg Belz is urging the community to take care in the bathroom to ensure nobody spoils it at the toilet by flushing down incorrect items.
FRW has in place an Emergency Action Plan to notify at-risk residents of emergencies at No. 7 Dam - including major flooding.
FRW kicked off National Water Week in style with a special presentation and performance for the winners of the ‘Water song writing challenge’!
Waterwise tips for dry months

The recent and predicted dry and hot weather serves as a friendly reminder for residents across our Region to be waterwise in their homes and gardens.
FRW and RRWR have kindly offered assistance to Queensland Fire and Rescue (QFRS) for their upcoming training exercise.
FRW encourages residents to purchase and install water efficient products in the homes under the Residential Rebate Scheme.
