Note: In accordance with s12(4)(h) of the Local Government Act 2009, His Worship the Mayor, Councillor Carter has been appointed as an ex-officio member to the Infrastructure Committee.

Responsibilities:

The following is a list of functions assigned to the Infrastructure Committee:

  • Counter Disaster Management
  • Asset Management (including buildings and facilities)
  • Floodplain management
  • Footpaths and bikeways
  • Infrastructure asset management
  • Public lighting
  • Road Services
  • Road Landscape
  • Storm water drainage and flood mitigation
  • Technical services
  • Traffic control
  • Transport planning
  • Works programs (construction and maintenance); roads, streets and bridges.

Note: The Infrastructure Committee makes recommendations to the Ordinary Council meeting. The Infrastructure Committee has no delegated authority.
